Please tell us about your care today. Good or bad, your comments are really important and will help improve the service for you and others.
To leave feedback for Northdown Surgery, please visit www.iwantgreatcare.org.
We hope to use our surgery website as a way
of presenting all our patients with an up to date resource for
all information relating to our practice. We will keep it
current with any news, developments & details that are relevant
to the practice and our patients.
As well as a source of information about our Practice, the staff
and the services we provide, we hope you use the website as a
useful resource with links to other reliable websites for health
related information. If there is topical health information we
will also add this to the website.
Have a look around our website and please do send us some
feedback. We can use your thoughts to improve our online
services and further develop the website to make it a more
useful, practical application for our patients.
Parking for Patients
We would ask that you please have respect for our neighbours, particularly in St Anthony's Way, and not inconvenience them by blocking driveways etc whilst you are visiting the surgery. Also the disabled bay is strictly for disabled badge holders only - please do not park here if you are not disabled. If you can, maybe take the healthy option and park further away and take a short walk down the alleyway at the side of the surgery to connect you to the main surgery entrance. There are also bus stops located outside the back entrance of the surgery, at Holly Lane and by the Hungry Horse.

Half-day Closures »
We offer a range of pre-booked appointments on a Saturday
morning - some with the Nurse, some with the GP. Unfortunately
we are unable to book certain types of appointments with the
Nursing team as there are no laboratory collection services
available on a Saturday (i.e. blood tests, urine tests etc).
Please ask the Reception Team about Saturday clinics.
Care Data Extraction
A recent Health and Social Care Act allows the NHS to extract,
in certain circumstances, Personal Confidential Data (PCD) from
GP practices throughout England without seeking prior patient
consent. The anonymised data will be used to plan, develop and
improve patient care and services. The Health and Social Care
Information Centre (HSCIC) will use the GP Extraction Service (GPES)
to obtain anonymous information from all GP practices in England
for specific and approved purposes. Patients can choose not to
allow their personal anonymised data to be used for this
purpose. For further information, please contact the HSCIC on
0845 300 6016 or go to
Summary Care Records
